Michael Elam

Michael Elam is a graduate of Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York with a Master of Divinity. Has worked as a Teaching Associate for the Moriah Institute, has lectured at Howard University School of Divinity, Drew University, New York Theological Seminary and The Samuel DeWitt School of Theology at Virginia Union University. Michael developed a lecture series on “The Genesis of Sodom and Gomorrah” and has presented this lecture at many venues. Michael is currently pursuing Doctoral programs with a discipline in Human Sexuality and Theology. Michael is a member of the St. Paul Community Baptist Church in Brooklyn, NY and is the Director of Wounded  Healers, a spiritually based 12 step recovering ministry. Michael is Vice President of LGBT Faith Leaders of African Descent, an interfaith advocacy group.
